Simple Birthday Card

~ @29 months ~
Grandpa’s birthday falls in September.  With a Tot, I like our crafts and gift making sessions to be ‘open-ended’.  That is, easily extendable to a different gift.  In my previous post, I shared how we made our Teacher’s Day gift.  Here is how we extended it.

I prepared the card for Sweet Butterfly by pasting her handprint on cardstock and glued coloured popsicle sticks around the border.  Next, she squeezed glue on the empty spaces.  This is a good practice for finger muscles.

She spread the glue using a paint brush.
Spread the glue
And pasted all the glittering starts and clover.

Our end product.
